What is the best thing to wear under a sating dress to hold everything in? I have to go bridesmaid shopping for my FSIL wedding and she chose a satin dress and is dead set on getting it- no matter if we like it or not
Satin shows every little lump and bump, so I was wondering, besides spanx, does anyone know of anything else to wear under it that would hold in the stomach?

A spanx type thing would be best. There are other brands if that brand doesn't work for you. Just go to the lingerie department of a big store and they should have a few. And they should have different types. Target even has them.

A long line bra is always good for smoothing lumps and imperfections. While holding everything in place.

My sister and I went to maidenform at the deer park outlet yesterday and she picked up a long bra girdle, that completely ****** everything in and made it seem like she had the perfect body.

I wouldn't suggest a longline bra that just ends at the waist- you'll see the line under the dress. You might have to get a bodysuit type one... or spanx.

Does a long lined bra have boning in it? Bc if it does, I'm thinking that might not be a good idea under a satin dress.
I'm going to look in Lord and Taylor today for some spanx
