So FH and I are going to have an uneven BP. I have 3 brothers and one BIL and FH wants to ask all of them, then 4 of his friends....so that makes 8 (including best man). I am having 5 girls(including MOH). I am having enough anxiety that the BP is soooo uneven and there are much more guys than girls, but now FH tells me he wants to ask one more guy...making it 9 to 5. He is trying to sell it on me by saying that the Best Man and MOH can walk down together and then each girl with have 2 guys on either side. What do you think? Should I let him ask the one more friend??? I guess it kind of evens out the BP a little more.

I think he may have a point here... I think it would look good in the photos too... although uneven.. it would be even in the end .. I think it will work

I think that would be fine and look nice having 2 guys for 1 girl...i wouldnt stress about it! I have 5 girls total and 6 boys total...I dont know what im gonna do :) but im like oh well no worries....until it gets closer Im sure :)

I think you should worry about who is most important to you being in your BP as opposed to having an even BP... JMO. I mean, don't get me wrong...I think they look amazing when they ARE even...but we lost one girl in my BP, and then another I never formally asked...so we were down two... But, I have 5 kids as well... 3 JBMs, and 2 FGs... so mine is totally UNeven... Do what makes YOU happy...

I guess you should let him ask the last guy to be in it so it evens out and you could do 2 guys to 1 girl.

I have 6GM and 8BM (one is 13 so I guess she can be considered a jr). Do not worry about it. It is more important to have the people you love part of the day. We aren't all traditional brides so why must we have even numbered bridal parties?
The pictures will be fine. Do not worry.

That sounds good but the best man stays up front with the groom and MOH usually walks down by herself. Then you have have each girl with 2 guys.
I have an uneven bridal party and my concern was more about when we do the first dance the bridal party joins us on the dance floor. But then we decided that we would just have all of our BP members dance with their SO's and not each other because there's no reason for one of my BM and one of his GM, who have never even met, to dance together. It's just awkward for everyone.

I am going to have an uneven BP as well... at 1st it bothered me.... now ehhhh who cares. They are going to walk back and forth- the people who are in your party matter most. You dont want to add people JUST TO ADD PEOPLE and you dont want to exclude people who deserve to be in your party. Dont worry

I feel your pain I am really upset about this. I started with 5bm and 1 Moh. I am now down to 2BM and 1 Moh Vs FH 6GM and BM
I really do not care anymore how it will look.

i have 3 BM and he has 4GM 2 FG 1 RB and our dog as a RB too so it kinda evens out
i think i'm going to have my MOH walk with 2 guys or something ugh i don't even want to think about that head ace now

I have the same thing. I have 5 girls and FH has 8 guys. I have 2 matrons of honor and FH has 2 Best men. That leaves me with 3 girls and him 6 guys and each girl will have 2 guys walk them...
I think you should do the same thing.

ours is probably going to be uneven too. i've been to weddings where a gm walked down w/2 bm's and vice versa. there's nothing wrong with that at all.

i think as long as u have the people who mean the most, then thats what counts! mine is LARGE and uneven lol, 10 guys, 12 girls!
