For those of you who have a mis-matched number of girls or guys in your bridal party... How are you handling this for all of the typical wedding day traditions (ie: walking down the aisle, being announced at the reception hall, etc)? It looks like I am going to have 7 guys and 5 girls for my BP so I want to get ideas of what everyone else is doing... I figure that I will have the men stand at the altar instead of walking down the aisle but I am not sure how to handle the reception hall/first dance arrangement. I might have two men walk in together... Its a running joke that these two guys are such inseperable friends they might as well be a couple so I am hoping they wont mind!

I have 8 guys and 5 girls. He has 2 best men (his 2 brothers) and I am having 2 matrons of honors (my 2 best friends) and we will have 2 guys for each girl for the rest of the bridal party. That makes the couples even so nobody is left out alone...

Some of them may have dates, no? They could just dance with their dates, and maybe it will work out that if a couple of guys don't have dates, then a couple of girls won't either?

As of right now I will have the guys with FH and the girls will walk down alone. The intro....I am thinking of MOH/Best Man and the GM walk in with the other 2 girls and have my son walk in with the FG.

Think back to when you have seen weddings... Have you ever really noticed/cared about an uneven bp? Dont stress it... I plan on having some paired up and some in 3's

Honestly I have never been to a wedding with an uneven BP! I know it's not a big deal in the end but when I think about how it is uneven my OCD kicks in and it drives me crazy!!! This is just something I need to suck up and get over already!

You can have 3 people walk down together at the church and out together at the reception. It'll all work out, and everything will look GREAT!

I have 2 girls and 4 guys, im thinking about letting everyone walk down on their own, or just double up...not sure yet

haah i know all too well about the ocd ... it can be very frustrating!
