any one have or planning to have more groomsmen than BM's, or the other way around? how'd your pictures turn out if there were odd numbers?

i have an even number but was in a wedding with more girls than guys. we ended up walking in two and one and it was ok.

We have uneven numbers. I have 6 BM and FH has 3 GM. We will either have some of the BM walk down alone or have them all double up with the boys.

I have ten girls and FH has nine guys. I have 2 MOH's. For the entrance into the reception my moh's will walk one on each arm with the bm.

I'm purposely doing uneven numbers. I have 8 BM's and FH has 4 guys. I want a guy to walk with a girl on each arm. I hope our pictures look good, but as long as we're having a good time, I'm sure they'll look fine

We had 8 guys and 6 girls. We doubled up 2 guys to 2 of the girls. The pictures were fine. No biggie at all!

I have 5 GM and 8 BM. 3 of the BM of my much younger sisters, and I just wanted to include them in the bridal party and pictures without including them in the bachelorette party and other stuff. They're going to walk together down the aisle. I think the photos will look great regardless .

My MOH had 9 girls and 13 boys, all you could see was a sea of people you didn't even have time to count us all lol

I think some people may obsess over even BP's but the only person who notices will be the Bride.
I'm having 4 BM's and FH will prob only have 2 or 3 GM. I plan on having two of the girls walk down with the one GM, or both. I think it'll be cute.

we're having 7 girls and 6 guys - 2 of the girls are my sisters the maid of honor and matron of honor so they will walk down the aisle alone and walk back arm and arm with the best man. im not really worried how it will look in pictures

I had 6 GM and 3 BM. At the ceremony we had all the guys up at the alter and just the girls walked down the aisle. At the reception, one of the GM escorted my MIL and the rest doubled up and the best man and MOH walked in together.

Take a look in my album.
I had two MOH and he had 1 BM
I had 5 Bridesmaids and 1 Jr. Bridesmaid and 2 Flower Girls He had 12 Groomsmen and 1 Jr. Groomsman and 1 Ring Bearer
It was fine. The photographer set the pictures nicely and not with that 'prom' look at all.
As for walking together the BM had the two MOH and then each guy had two girls.
Two Groomsmen (his nephews) walked together

ohh i'm so glad so many people are doing it, and having it work! FH may have 3-4 guys, and i'm having 3 girls and want to get started on things, so I don't want to wait to see if i need to add another girl....
so i'll probably do 3, and he'll have 3-4. but then one girl can just walk down with two guys haha.

i am having 3 BMs and 2 JBMs...and FH is having 3 GM...the 2 JBMs are walking down together and will stand in front (a step down) of the the BMs at the alter..so the length looks even.
