We originally had four guys and four girls, but one of my bridesmaids had to drop out (her sister is getting married the same week). We didn't order the girl's dresses yet, so I could still find a replacement, but I'm OK with an uneven party. My FI is not OK with it. I told him one of the girls can walk down the aisle with two guys - I've seen it done before, I don't think it looks bad. He thinks it does. What do you think? There are some girl friends of the guys I could ask but I'm not as close to them...I'm afraid at this point asking another girl would make it seem obvious she's a back up choice. Any solutions?

my bp is uneven. 6 girls 3 girls. The will be 'doubled teamed'. I think its fine. I do wish it was even though.
I don't think asking someone to step in will make them feel like an after thought. I think they will be flattered that you thought you could turn to them.

I would probably just leave it uneven. IMO, BP members are usually close friends and family.

mine was uneven... no biggie- I dont have sisters and either does Dh, so I had my three best girlfriends- I could have 'added' others to make it even, but I didnt think it was necessary to add just for the sake of adding-and making it even

Mines uneven too. We have 6 guys and 4 girls. There's just going to be 2 guys that will walk down with 1 girl on each side. It's better then having people in your BP as 'space fillers' Tell FH that it is very common these days to have that situation.

My BP was uneven. They all walked alone. Nobody counted the people. Nobody cared.

hello date and town twin... i think we're going to be uneven as well. 6 guys, 5 girls... i think it's fine, though I would also prefer us to be even.

we are going to have an uneven BP too now... two of my BM dropped out last night (sisters) my FH thinks the same way as yours he HATES uneven BP thinks it looks weird but I am not going to replace my girls that dropped out...I think it will be fine!

my bridal party is uneven, we are going to have all the girls walk in alone and than double up some of the girls on the way back down the aisle.

we're having 8 girls and 7 guys. one guy will walk down with 2 girls and when it comes time to have the first dance, ill have one of the guys bring up his wife or girlfriend.

My BP is very uneven 8 guys and 4 girls I am having two guys to every girl and my MOH will walk alone. My brother will walk up my mother and the best man will stand at the altar with my FH. I just didn't want to ask girls to be in my wedding just as space fillers-I'd rather have just my very close friends and family by my side that day!

I'm 'double teaming' as well. I have 4 guys and 2 girls. I only asked my sister and my very best friend. I didn't want to have to deal with any potential drama. The rest of my girls will be participating in other ways...

My BP is uneven...8 guys, 7 girls.. I don't think it is a big deal either. I have seen a lot of BP's like that...One lucky guy gets two girls or vice versa!

Our BP was uneven with 8 guys & 5 girls...Everyone doubled up with exception to the MOH & Best Man...Also my brother & SIL walked as a couple. I think it looked great in pictures & it is a common thing today!

my bridal party is even 5 girls 4 guys
we are having 1 guy (my cousin) with 2 girls and it turns out that the two girls are both his cousins, so it will be cute!
