Uneven bridal party-what to do for bridal party dance?
Original post by glinda_goodwitch
We have 5 girls and 7 guys. Only 1 guy has a GF that will be at the wedding. Should we just have 5 girls dance with 5 guys and have the other two switch in partway through the dance? Is that dumb? We can't find another girl for the GM, so I don't know what else to do. Any ideas?

Would you consider not having them dance. that only you and your H dance and the BP can just stand by

I think at my brother's wedding we switched off. I danced with one GM for the first have, and the other GM for the second half. I think I had two walk me down the aisle as well ...

The problem is, none of the guys are bringing dates...We are dancing our first dance alone, a waltz. Maybe we'll just have everyone up to dance the second dance.

I though the spotlight dance was supposed to me just you and him?
I would just invite everyone up with their SOs..why force people to dance with people they don't know or didn't come with?

Sorry, I meant bridal party dance. Not all the BP have dates, so that is why this is sorta confusing on what to do.

I'd skip it altogether! No reason to have a bridal party dance unless you've got your heart set on it.

We have an uneven bridal party and are skipping this. FH & I have our first dance choreographed to do solo. When it's over ALL the guests will be invited up on the dance floor.

Do this so it's not awkward for the BP without dates.
I always hated dancing with a random guy I didn't know at friends weddings, anyway!
