I had this too. My cousin walked down by herself & she danced with ehr BF during the dance.

Re: Uneven wedding party?
I had 3 girls and 4 guys. When it came time for the church ceremony one of the guys (my brother) walked my mother down the aisle. At the reception, my brother danced with my bridesmaid who he's good friends with and the 2nd groomsmen danced with his fiancee who was not in my wedding party.
It all works out in the end, so don't worry.

Re: Uneven wedding party?
I have the same situation .. so we decided that 1st dance just FH and I are to dance .. then there will be a 2nd song and we will invite all the couples to the dancefloor .. that way no one is 'without a partner'

Re: Uneven wedding party?
we danced our first dance alone so this wasn't a problem. next song was fast... If we did ask everyone to join in - I would have had everyone dance with their spouse/date. I had uneven also so I would have done it that way.

I also have an uneven BP.... 6 BM and 4 GM... I like the idea of opening up the 1st dance to everyone and letting the BP dance w/ their dates...thx for the idea!
