I am having more bridesmaids (I think like two or three more) than groomsman.
has anyone done this? How did they walk down the aisle...I'm thinking they'll walk down without a groomsman, just by themselves..but I'm not sure.

I had more groomsmen than bridesmaids, and I just had 2 walk one down...you can do that also...it looks fine!

ive seen this a lot give one guy two girls or one girl two guys, etc...... you will be fine

A friend of mine got married recently and she had more BMs than GMs and she had one GM walk down the isle with two girls. It was actually pretty cute and everyone got a kick out of it.

im havin 9 girls 6 guys i will have them double up or have the guys already at the alter and girls walk alone

I am having one more BM than GM. I am having the bridal party walk down the isle alone. I may even have th GM up at the huppah when the ceremony begins.
You can also do two guys to one girl....looks cute!

I will have two more groomsman than bridesmaids. i will have two groomsman walk down with one Bm. ANd I'm using the other as a ring bearer. He's 8- I figure that's still young enough! I hope?

We have 6 BMs and 7 GM. We are just having one girl walk down with two guys. We will probably have them walk down last.

2 of our groomsmen will have 2 girls. One for each arm. (Well that's for the reception entrance. Don't know how we're working the ceremony yet.)

Jenny, your getting close to the big day!!!! Did you ever get the alterations straightened out with your gown? I can't wait to see pics from your wedding, that's going to be some event!!!

I'm having one more bridesmaid than groomesmen. i'm having the girls walk down themselves, on the way back i'm having one of the guys walk with two girls.
it's no big deal! Congrats!

Kathy, so far the alterations are going fine. My seamstress has been a doll to work with (knock on wood! ) I won't know about the hem (my major concern) until Sept 12th when I go for my final fitting, but the seamstress reassured me it won't be a problem.
So much to do, so little time!
Just wait and see how fast the next 4 months are going to go by for you! It feels like just yesterday I logged on here for the first time.
Any word on your gown?

No word on the gown yet...I'm due to have the first alterations in mid-October.
I think I had every wedding nightmare that one can possibly have already!
Quick question, where did you go for shoes? I am at a total loss, and I love your taste, so any suggestions would be much appreciated!

If there are more BM I have seen the following which I thought looked really cute...
First BM walks alone, Than they pairs follow, And last BM walks alone
... if there are more BM you can put her in the middle.
