I feel you I am scarred about this too when we send out our invites . . . we don't want any children either other than the two exceptions in the BP. People always look at me like I am crazy when I say that we don't want ANY children at our wedding

The same thing happened to me. I invited my FH cousin and his wife and he is bringing his 10 yr old son instead.

People are so rude!!!!! Thus far I have not had any problems with the invites, but this is what I am fearing the most.

FH just gets so mad because he hates being put in this uncomfortable position of calling her and telling her because she is an idiot and can't read an invitation properly.

he shouldn't call, etiquette says, his family member closet to the person is supposed to, so if its his moms sister, his mom is supposed to call.. even though it doesn't always work out that way HTH for the stress

Its your wedding so you should do what will make you feel comfortable. You or your FH better tell her that she can't bring her daughter. I'm sure she's going to get upset by this decision and may not come at all but at least she knows.
