i've seen... fruit in bowls, coffee beans in vases, marshmellows stuffed in vases, little fruit trees and pots of grass.... check out these pics... even though some of them have have flowers you can omit them if you dont want them
I have seen brightly colored jelly beans, I thougt that was really cute. You could use any candy that is different and brightly colored. I like that idea.
Or you can do something like this, this was what gave me the idea to do the lights in my centerpieces.

Re: unique centerpieces??
we did white braches with hanging votives and crystals - but that was for a winter wedding - but you can do something really unique with curly willow, brown branches, and hanging crystals - maybe add a touch of flowers? i love centerpieces like that opposed to all floral....
These things are adorable... great ideas... keep them coming!

Mine was a winter wedding but I used white twigs with hanging crystals, snowflakes and votives. But you can use bronze twigs with tealighs hanging off them. It just looked so elegant.
