My BMs got me a picnic basket and my favorite type of wine. This was actually a shower gift, but it could be an engagement gift too. I really loved it and it wasn't something I would've bought myself. It's the only gift I've received that I actually brought back to our apt. I left the rest at my parents' house where they will be stored until we eventually get a house.

One of my favorite gifts was a 6-month subscription to a wine club (wine.com). FH and I look forward to it and celebrate each month!!

My sister got me one of my favorite engagemant gifts. she made a basket and she put in it different bottles of wineand labeled each bottle. one for:
Our first anniversary
Our first home
Our first baby
Our 25th Anniversary
and last but not least...
a bottle of Cristal and she labeled it
'Our Wedding Day'

It was the best!!!!

My sister got me a ring holder when I got engaged. I have to say it is one of the best gifts I got so far. I keep my ring there anytime its not on my finger ( shower, sleep etc.) I think of her almost every time I do it, and it looks great on my dresser. Very unique.
I got this one from Waterford, but there are so many others to choose from.

My sister got me one too... but for xmas a while ago. It really is a great gift!!!! It is where i put my e ring every night b4 bed and it looks good on my dresser.

depending on what u are planning on spending...one of the nicest gifts i got was a weekend away for me and fh by a bunch of my friends... it was really nice, because we are saving and would not have been able to afford a weekend escape on our own...obviously it was costly, and 8 people chipped in..but u can do tickets to a show and dinner or a night in NYC and pay for brunch??

Two of my bridesmaids got me a great gift - a clock from Things Remembered that has 'Our Love is timeless' inscribed. Along with our names and date we got engaged.
