i think that would be FANTASTIC!!! I've always wanted to learn to swing dance!!!!!

well we may Waltz to it. :) i have to find the song...its @ home. but it's soo beautiful. we practiced also and it looks great. it's not that long either so :) we may go for it!

Thats what had me thinking about this now bc fh's friend sent that video out in a mass email but it was titled 'is this denise and joe at their wedding' lol when i got it i was histerical and its true that is very 'US'

our dance itself isn't going to be unique (although I'd love to choreograph something since I've danced for so many years...FH ain't havin it though ) but the songs and how we're mixing them are kind of unique..he's excited

Here's an idea... FH & I took dance lessions last year. The instructor said a lot of people do a slow dance (like a foxy) to start off their dance and then go into some thing faster- mambo, salsa, swing, etc... It's easy & they do it all the time. I would maybe call a dance studio and talk to an instructor to get some ideas. We loved this idea and still might do it if we have time to go back for a few lessions and practice....

(I can't watch these you tube videos at work, but will when I get home)

well the foxtrot, lindy or anything like that i wouldn't go to an instructor my fh is really good at these dances so he can just choreograph it...but i want our first slow song to just dance normal and looking in eachothers eyes and all that...the whole hip-hop type dance is something we would do and i kinda want fh to do that bc he is real good at it...i have thought about doing the mamba, salsa or something like that but im kinda leaning more towards hip-hop, with that we would also choreograph it ourselves.

I think you should totally work in hip hop - since he's into it and can choreograph it... And it something guest will love and make the wedding more memorable! And , of course to have on the video is priceless!!!

I was watching this one today and showed FH and he likes it alot... I would LOVEEEEE to do this but could never with a gown on....

We're just doing a simple rhumba/waltz, which actually is a unique first dance for us because before we started dance class we had no idea how to dance at all.
