photo guest book platter or dish to be signed engagement photo matted and signed?
I am a BM in a friends's wedding and she is looking to do something different but I am having a hard time finding something other than these ideas.
TIA!

That's what FH and I are doing too and we chose the ones without the photos.. it's a bit expensive but totally worth it imo.

Re: Unique Guest Sign In
I really like the idea of a Polaroid guest book and also the idea of a wish bowl....so I'm thinking of combining the 2 ideas. So we'll have a wish bowl and ask everyone to include their name in their message to us and at each table, we'll place disposable cameras and ask the guests to take individual/couples pictures of everyone at the table. FH and I will assemble our own guest book with the pictures and wishes afterwards.
We didn't think we could do a polaroid guest book with 500+ people, and this seems to be the next bes thing.

Re: Unique Guest Sign In
My daughter did a photo sign in book but it was not a polaroid. We had the photographer print pics up right then and there and then people signed it. There were some pages with no pictures which we put in from pics other people took. Look in my DIY for a picture of the book . It is wood with Decoupage.

I love the poloroid idea...i think it's great to look back and put a face with the name..i know my parents can't always remember who came to their wedding and that would be most fun and helpful!

Re: Unique Guest Sign In
A friend of mine got married in London, and at her reception she had birde and groom stuffed bears that you could sign on their bodies.
Also, I remember reading on a previous thread that an 08 bride is going to have a Jets jersey for her guests to sign; they will then frame the jersey and hang it in their den.

Re: Unique Guest Sign In
CHeck out this website.. My family and friends have been using it for years for signature platters for bridal showers, birthday parties, etc.
I did some more research and found an idea that the bride loved. We are going to buy quilt patches, lay them out and each quest will be able to write a special message on it. When they are all done, she can have the pieces made into a quilt.
