I am trying to avoid getting a book for my guests to sign at the reception. I'm looking for something more unique. Since this is a large wedding (250+ people) I figured the polaroid/photo album guestbook would be too much.
Anyone have interesting ideas? One of my friends did a platter (the guests signed the platter in permanent pen). But again with 250+ people, it would end up looking messy. And I don't want to have 5 different platters.

FH and I are doing a platter. We ordered it from a pain your own pottery place- they do wedding ones.

I am doing a signature mat. Our pic will be in the middle and the guests signs on the board. And then we can frame it. But your wed is big....that mat would have to be pretty big (lol)

im doing a wish bowl i got a book off ebay that comes with little buisiness card size cards for people to write things on.....then they put them in the bowwl and later on i can go thru them and put them in the book.....
I bought my daughter a photo/scrapbook. The top of the paper a 4/6 photo fit and at the bottom there were lines for people to sign. People signed about 27 of the 3 pages (we too had 260 people) and then when pictures started coming in from friends and family I put it in the book. I tried to match the pictures to some of the people that signed on that page. I will get a picture of it this weekend and put it in my photo albums.
Its very pretty and I love flowers so I would keep it out all the time on display

That's what I did for my guest book except I used pics starting from baby pics till the engagement. It was a huge hit!!

my cousin did a wedding puzzle guestbook. You choose a picture to be enlarged and made into a puzzle. The pieces are wood and each guest signs the back. You can have the kids or younger guests put the puzzle together during the reception. It was a really unique guestbook!
we did the platter -- not everyone signs! we had appx 200 people.

We did a wish bowl for ours and then I put them all in a scrapbook with photos from the wedding. They have a really cute wedding themed scrapbook at JoAnns that is only $20 and I used a shimmery paper. It's very simple but elegant at the same time!

FH and I are going to do a NFL Jersey with our last name on the back with '08' for the number. We're hoping to get a house with a basement we can make into a bar and we'll hang it up down there.
