Genesis 2:18-24 The Lord God said: “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a suitable partner for him.” So the Lord God formed out of the ground various wild animals and various birds of the air, and he brought them to the man to see what he would call them; whatever the man called each of them would be its name. The man gave names to all the cattle, all the birds of the air, and all the wild animals; but none proved to be the suitable partner for the man.
So the Lord God cast a deep sleep on the man, and while he was asleep, he took out one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. The Lord God then built up into a woman the rib that he had taken from the man. When he brought her to the man, the man said:
“This one, at last, is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; This one shall be called ‘woman,’ For out of ‘her man’ this one has been taken.”
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body.
Corinthians 12:31-13:8 If I am without love, it will do me no good whatever.
Be ambitious for the higher gifts. And I am going to show you a way that is better than any of them. If I have all the eloquence of men or of angels, but speak without love, I am simply a gong booming or a cymbal clashing. If I have the gift of prophecy, understanding all the mysteries there~ are, and knowing everything, and if I have faith in all its fullness, to move mountains, but without love, then I am nothing at all. If I give away all that I possess, piece by piece, and if I even let them take my body to burn it, but am without love, it will do me no good whatever. Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous; love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offence, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end.
I had a LOT of trouble finding these. Eventually we finally came up with stuff we liked and that we related to, but it was definitely difficult because we are VERY picky.
This link to another forum was VERY helpful and we ultimately chose our readings from here.
Enjoy and make sure you have a LOT of time to pore through the thread!
ETA that my first choice didn't make it and neither did DH's ... but there is seriously a lot of beautiful stuff if you take the time to look through. This thread was a lifesaver for us!
You have known each other from the first glance of acquaintance to this point of commitment. At some point, you decided to marry. From that moment of yes, to this moment of yes, indeed, you have been making commitments in an informal way. All of those conversations that were held in a car, or over a meal, or during long walks – all those conversations that began with, “When we’re married,' and continued with “I will” and “you will” and “we will” – all those late night talks that included “someday” and “somehow” and “maybe” – and all those promises that are unspoken matters of the heart. All these common things, and more, are the real process of a wedding.
The symbolic vows that you are about to make are a way of saying to one another, “You know all those things that we’ve promised, and hoped, and dreamed – well, I meant it all, every word.”
Look at one another and remember this moment in time. Before this moment you have been many things to one another – acquaintance, friend, companion, lover, dancing partner, even teacher, for you have learned much from one another these past few years. Shortly you shall say a few words that will take you across a threshold of life, and things between you will never quite be the same.
For after today you shall say to the world – This is my husband. This is my wife.
And then we had his cousin read this...
'A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we're pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we're safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we're two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we've found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life.'

I found this link on my own actually, like a year and a half ago.
This was really the most comprehensive grouping of non-cheesy, non-drippy, non-religious readings I ever found and I did EXTENSIVE research. I would also suggest looking into lyrics. We briefly considered that as well but, of course, never agreed on ANY LYRICS.

We used Union. two of my friends read it. It was great.
True love is and must always be, a free gift with no conditions attached.
The essential message of unconditional love is one of liberation. You can be whoever you are, express all your thoughts and feelings with absolute confidence. You do not have to be fearful that love will be taken away. You will not be punished for your openness of honestly. There is no admission price to love, no rental fees or installment payments to be made. There may be days when disagreements and disturbing emotions may come between you. There may times when thoughts or physical miles may lie between you. But you have given each other the word of your commitment. You have set your life on a new course. You should not go back on your word to each other. So feel free to be yourselves. One thing we all know and should share with each other… we are committed to each others growth and happiness. Above all else, never take each other for granted and always love each other, because true love is unconditional.
