oh my favorite is using lil bud vases..tying a ribbon around the neck and using a tag, and putting something like a lil daisy in the vases..

im skipping the place cards and ordered this huge story book thing that write everyones name and table number and they customize it with your wedding colors, its so pretty

something simple that i saw in a magazine is that you can use lemons or limes(or really any fruit) and attach a strip of paper with the name and table on it. you pin the paper onto the fruit, it looked cute. im not sure about my colors yet but i'll keep that one in mind.

Sorry to crash, but I have this saved because I think its really cute, and if you are going with plum and apple green, it matches well!

OOOOOH, I saw that at a showcase too and FH fell in love with it so we might do it.
Don't you still need place cards though? So people can know if someone is already sitting somewhere?

I notice you are getting married in November. A coworker of mine got married and used mini pumpkins as place holders. After Oct 31st they should be pretty cheap - if you want to wait until the last moment.
