Unique situation

Unique situation

Originally, FH and I were going to get married in my church. When I sat back and really thought about it, I realized it's really not our style and I would prefer something outsides.

I wouldn't do the ceremony at the RH. Not only don't I love the space, but want to be part of my CH and have lots of time for pictures. The upside is, my family owns a small vineyard space where we could have the ceremony, but I know it'll be more of an expense and we'd have to worry about coordinating it as far as getting ceremony music, chairs, possible tent if it rains, hiring an officiant and whatever else goes into doing something like that.

So my question to you is, have any of you been to, heard of or personally set up a ceremony site yourselves? I'm willing to put the time and effort into doing it, but need some help and advice.

if you're willing to spend the time and money on it, it's definitely do-able

as you said, you'd need:
-- location (you have)
-- chair rental
-- tent if it rains
-- valet parking (maybe)
-- the 'usual' ceremony items (officiant, some sort of music to walk down the aisle to, etc)

i'm not entirely sure but you also might need insurance ...

Thanks for answering.

What would I possibly need insurance for?

call Cheeky Glam Events. They are not expensive, and DOCs can set up some of that stuff for you. Plus they are really sweet.
