fh and i are suddenly tossing around the possibility of a church ceremony. since neither of us are religious, it felt hypocritical, but i can get behind the unitarian philosophy. can anybody tell me anything about having a unitarian ceremony? recommend a church? i really don't know the first thing.

then the ceremony would be outside in july, and i'm worried about the heat. we were considering a nondenominational ceremony at the lighthouse--close to the water where at least there'll be a breeze--but transportation is turning into a nightmare. we're hoping to find out more about a unitarian church ceremony.

Hi...don't know if you've gathered more info..but I just saw this! We are having our ceremony at the unitarian universalist chapel at shelter rock in manhasset, http://www.uucsr.org/ and it is sooo beautiful there! There is also another one in huntington http://www.uufh.org/ which might a little closer to your RH.
The websites have a lot of info...hope that helps!

We are booking our ceremony at the Unitarian congregation in Manhasset (shelter rock).
Here is a pic of the inside which is not shown on their website.
