Unity Candle

I just realized I probably have to get a Unity candle....where on earth do I get a Unity Candle???

we have a floating unity candle, purchased from Exlcusivelyweddings.com, that is engraved with our names and date. I'm contemplating dying the water green so the names stand out more for pictures, plus it will incorporate one of our wedding colors. The only sucky thing is that it didn't come with candle holders for the 2 candles used to light it so I will probably just purchased 2 basic ones from Michael's or something.

I got mine at Party City. It was on clearance for $2. The stand was also on clearance for $2.

It was perfect, IMHO.

I suggest just looking around a little if you have some time.

We received ours as a gift from E-Party...so them in Walmart for I think $20.00...I then dressed up ours...

I got my unity candle from Creations by Pauline. I loved it because it was different. But you can even get them at Michaels, AC Moore, or many people make them.

I used regular scented candles (1 pillar and 2 sticks).

Then I wrapped thin blue ribbon around the sticks. I also wrapped thick silver ribbon and a string of beads around the pillar. I got holders for cheap... and that was the unity candles for us!!

I tried to show a pic... but it needs to be resized and I'm at work so I can't do that. But there's a pic of it in my pro pixs album.

i ordered ours from opentip.com and then i ordered 2 plain glass taper holders from save-on -crafts and i'm just gonna get two plain white tapers from walmart or something
