Re: unity candle or sand
well im doing a unity candle. however it is not standard. if you go onto redenvelope.com (i dont know how to insert pics in here lol) and look under wedding items, it's there. It is two half circles that are placed together to make one full circle. Our vows state something about a circle never ending....
i do to.. definitly different.. might go with that
thanks

Re: unity candle or sand
you def should. i have it already and its really amazing in person... the part of my vows that i picked out say 'just as a this circle is without end, my love for you is eternal...' so i figured it was meant for the rings but i also felt that fit.

Re: unity candle or sand
My mom really wanted to do unity candles. She is wedding 'clueless' and has not other input on the wedding. So, when she said she wanted to do this, I said of course. She's excited about the whole 'uniting two families' thing. I am making my own candle w/ ribbon, pearls and iron ons.

I think we are going to do the sand. We are having an outside ceremony, so I dont want the candles blowing out.

I think the sand makes a better keepsake, but the candle is more traditional and always beautiful. I can't decide which one I'm using!
