Unity candle, sand ceremony.... - Long Island Weddings

I was at a wedding a few weeks ago and they did a salt ceremony it was nice and different was thinking about reading up on it. I like the wine idea but my FH doesn't really drink so i would be the only one drinking the bottle so... since I like to cook I thought the salt idea might be good.

When I saw it you mix the same type of salt. The idea is that you can't seperate the grains of salt (like the sand) However I was thinking since I like to cook to either do spices or I have heard of mixing salt and pepper then using the mix for you kitchen.

The salt sounds cool. We're most likely doing sand for ours.
