Unity candle/memorial candle

Ok, Im having my ceremony at my chruch. The Decon said he would lite the memorial candle at the begining of the ceremony to represent my mother's presence and that everyone is here now.

But I'd also like to do a unity candle. Should I use the memorial candle as well or just get a separate unity candle??? Fh and I would be lighting the unity candle.

Not sure if it's silly to get two candles or somehow incorporate the memorial candle into the unity candle ceremony?????

So confused!!!!

I think they have 2 very different meanings. . .so I would use 2 diff candles.
