Unity Candles

Are there alot of girls that are getting married in a Church getting a Religious Candle for their Candle lighting? My mom wants me to get a religious candle.

You can't really see the candle from the pews so no one will really notice either way.

No mine are just personalized but def not religious but Im also not a religious person. And by religious candles what do you mean? Most unity candles I saw arent religious candles because its not a religious ceremony, the whole unity candle tradition. its just a symbol of 2 becoming 1... The joining of 2 hearts, 2 familys that type of symbolization...

Mine is plain. Technically the unity candle is not part of the Roman catholic mass so I do not see why it would need to be a religious candle.

I registered for the unity candle that matches our china. That way we can use it during holidays and stuff.

That's a good point about not seeing it from the pews.

I didn't plan on displaying it afterwards & my priest said he'd supply it.. so we used his & it just has a cross on it. It went right back in the box after the wedding and it's still there...
