Universal Studios- Orlando

Hey! Wondering if any of you have been to Universal lately. We are going there for 2 days at the start of our honeymoon this weekend. We are excited to go to the Harry Potter section! We want to pre purchase our tickets and only have ONE day to see the park. Do you think we need multi park pass or just islands of adventure is enough for one full day?

Thanks so much in advance for your advice!

we went it august and it was great! you have to have to have to by the express pass, you wont wait in line!

*harry potter is absolutely amazing!! but make sure that you get there first thing as soon as the park opens! we got there right at 9:00am and ther already was an hour wait! its allllll the way at the end of the park so run run run, but its totally worth it!

Edit: you can do islands in one day, we did, and we hit up every ride! You have to go on the Simpsons roller coaster its awesome!

FH and I went this past summer and it was a blast!!!!! Harry Potter world is fantastic! I agree with the above poster, get there before the park opens and head straight for Potter world, it gets crowded fast. Another tip, buy the frozen butterbeer it taste like happiness! The regular one....not so much....hehe

We were only in Orlando for the one day and Islands of Adventure was definitely enough to keep us busy all day. I'm sure there were things we didn't even get to see.

Have Fun!!!

I live in Orlando and go to the parks often. I would just stick to 1 park ...Islands of Adventure will keep you busy for a while. I agree with the other girls...get to Harry Potter asap because the lines will be insane. Especially because a lot of the schools have off up by you guys and everyone usually comes down here for vacation.

Have fun and congrats :)

Thank you so much! As long as Islands of adventure is enough for one day..i am just going to book a 1 park 1 day pass. (will save me like 30 bucks a ticket!)

I am sure it will be more crowded being holiday week but i'm sure it will be worthwhile. We will get there as early as possible!

Any good recommendation on where or how to get park tickets cheaper?

The only legit cheaper ticket I know of is the FL resident rate...other than that I believe you can sit through one of those timeshare seminars and get free tix
