Unsolicited Email
How many others of you received an email from a DJ company named QT Productions. It started out by thanking me for visiting LI Weddings then asked me if I was looking for some enterainment for my wedding. I thought our email addresses were not going to be given to vendors. I get enought junk mail through regular mail I do not need it in email also. I would appriciate it if you would take my email address off of the mail lists Let me know if anyone has experienced this. Thanks Lisa

I don`t recall getting an e-mail, but I`ve actually gotten a post card in the MAIL from them, saying that they got my name from LIWEDDINGS.COM!!!! I don`t believe that I have authorized anyone to give out my address to anyone else, especially vendors!! Simple solution: I will not use any vendors who says that they have gotten my name/address from LIWEDDINGS.COM!!

Unsolicited Email--Just ignore it
Just a fair warning to all--I have gotten them too and no, I am not happy about it BUT if you make a huge deal about it then LI Weddings will not be able to get the advertising support to pay for the site and then it will go away like so many other great web sites have gone. Basically, the only sites that are strong enough to stay around in the current economy are going to be those that are fee-based or those that can continue to get advertising support. So I just ignore the junk--delete it before I even open it instead of complaining, because I would hate to see the web site go. Just my opinion!

I also received this mail and hardly appreciate it. If this vendor is advertised on this site, why do they nned to bother brides via email?

Unsolicited Email--Cant Just ignore it
I go to other sites where my email is posted and it is not sold to venders in exchange for the advertisement. There is advertisement on the other sites and if I am interested I will click on those banners. I remember a couple of months ago, there were some complaints that someone sent emails regarding makeovers and that is when LI Weddings took off the emails listing off of our posts. So as you can see I wasn’t complaining I just wanted to know if anyone else had received unsolicited emails and if so why are vendors getting our email addresses from LI Weddings!! I was under the impression that our personal information that we posted on this website was just that - PERSONAL. LisaWelcome New Vendors
