Anyone know how I might go about making my own personal coasters? I saw some really cool ones on an invitation website, but they were . I thought - there must be some way I can do these myself, but I can't figure out how! Thanks ladies! As an example:

Re: Unusual Question...
I wonder if you could make one using the Outback Steakhouse coasters as a template. You could trace the shape on a similar type of cardboard. For the design you could probably print something out on a transparency or even regular paper and then laminate it to make it waterproof. THen just adhere to the cardboard.

Re: Unusual Question...
Di you do an online search for personalized coasters? I found this site:
Thanks! I'll have to check into them! I wonder if you can buy pulp board alone. I looked on ebay and briefly on yahoo but didn't see any. Guess I'll have to keep looking too if I want to do them myself. Thanks for the website! :o)

Re: Unusual Question...
Just so you know they are expensive b/c it is extremely expensive to run those printing presses for the coasters.. the print gigantic sheets of pulp board and then separate them into the coasters...
I've done them for my clients but they have VERY high minimum quantities.
I wonder if www.vistaprint.com has something like this? They have the best printing prices for do it yourself projects.

Re: Unusual Question...
If you could get the boards for the coasters, maybe get the big stickers, that they sell at staples. You could make your design on the computer, print out the large stickers and stick them on to the coasters!!
