Unusual Songs to come out to at reception?

Any suggestions??

I had Crazy Train all picked out and I thought FH was fine with it - well NOW he decides to put his 2 cents in (took long enough!) and says he doesn't want that song, it's too played out.

So, we're trying to come up with some songs that you really would never think of....something up beat, preferably rock, or even something unusual like TV themes...... FH mentioned the Superman theme (he's a huge comic geek ) he also mentioned Freebird - but that's really too slow until you get to the guitar solo and I wouldn't even know where to start it. Even though I love the song.

Any thoughts??

i was gonna surprise my fiance with the Batman theme b/c he's OBSESSED with Batman. Seriously, sometimes I wonder if he really thinks HE is Batman.

Come on Feel the Noise is a good one.
Wild Thing is kinda cool.
I'm sure there are plenty more that i can think of as the day goes on

I know some brides on this site (including myself!) used Beautiful Day by U2...

i loved walking out to that song!!!

rain in blood by slayer is what we are walking out to (fh's theme song) me I would of done a death metal song but i dig slayer.

queen - your my best friend is also great.

it all depends on how you want to set the tone for your day and what you guys like in general.

however, i think we are going with ray charles... i got a woman. it fits better with our theme of jazz music.

We came out to 500 Miles by the Proclaimers. Our DJ told us we were Boardy Barn people b/c of it.

my bridal party came out to 'The Final Countdown' by Europe.... and me & the hubby came out to (are u ready?)

'Welcome to the Jungle' by Guns & Roses!!!! it was the best intro ever!!!!! so much fun - it got our adrenaline so crazy that my fh picked me up like a football & lapped the dance floor with me! (after going through the BP arch of course lol)...anyways, it's definetly an awesome rock intro - and final countdown is a great bridal party song...give 'em both a listen too :) anyways, Good Luck!
