Does anyone know of a place to get an up-do for the wedding near Bellmore? I have to start scheduling trials!!! Thanks so much!

In Wantagh/Levittown area - a salon called Bocara I hear does a very nice job. They are on Wantagh Avenue sort of across from MacArthur...in a shopping center with Subway.

I live in Bellmore. I would recommend Karen at Maxiums salon. I ALWAYS use her for my updos - she is amazing.
Harvey Allen is another great salon although I dont use them for updos but have seen several that were good.

there is a place right in Bellmore called Who Does Your Hair that is supposed to be good - not sure of who to recommend though. I've just heard it's good.

I used Sherri from Cirage Salon on Merrick Road in Bellmore. She and her assistant came out and did the 5 of us at the hotel the morning of and were wonderful. She charges $30 for a trial I believe.
Is Valley Stream to far? I would recommend Studio V!

I've been going to Maximus since '85!! William is great; for blowouts, I always go to Alaina. (Dina A. and Jodi do great color jobs too!)

It's actually on Newbridge Road
Metro Modes is good, but I actually stopped going there years ago becuase it got so ridiculously expensive for everyday stuff... I can't imagine how much they would charge for weddings... They are very 'nyc', definitely good, but

alot of friends of mine use Sherri from Cirage. I have used Michael at Metro Modes - he's great and also have been to 'Who Does Your Hair' ---- all great.
