Up-Dos-How long do they normally take?

Hey Girls, does anyone know how long an updo should take if the hair dresser is charging between $65 and $85?

I used Mya from Cosmetic Artistry. She was so amazing. I couldn't have asked for any better. Her rate was $65 per girl. Each head took around 15-30 minutes, give or take length and style. She was like a little assembly line. So cute too. My sister who got her hair done at 8:30AM looked amazing at 12:30AM!!

my sisters wedding (i was a bm) my hair too 40 min but my sisters took 1 and half hours! i think it just depends how you where it - curled, half up, twists, braides, etc.

Thanks girls...I actually just got married on 9/23 and I used the hair dresser I always use. She had 11 of us to do (including me). She spent 30 minutes on the first 5 girls and did a great job, and then spent 8-15 minutes on the last 5 girls and did not so such a great job. The problem is that she charged the same amount. Do you think that is fair?

For my senior prom, my hair was really long, and it took almost two hours. So I think it depends on the length & thickness of your hair.

My up-do's usually take an hour.

My updo for my sisters wedding took about 1.5 hours.

When I took my hair out, I had over 200 bobby pins in there!!!! Took longer to take my hair out then it did to get my hair done!!!! lol lol

mmm definitely depends on wut kind of updo. for my pics, my updo took like 40 min. to an hour! it had a lot of braids....
