Hey Ladies - I went to the Four Points Sheradon in Plainview for a Bridal Expo and thought it was pretty good. I would like to go to more - can someone point me in the right direction as to where a schedule might be for upcoming events?

Anyway, there's a music showcase at Russo's tomorrow night (Tuesday) starting at 7:30.

Chateau Briand is having their winter showcase in January if you want to wait that long.
I've been to a few bridal shows and think its a great way to get an idea of what you want for a wedding, get a sense of types of vendors, and get sample products, etc.
I went to the Bridal Expo at the Marriott Marquis, one sponsored by Boscos (the best one because they had REAL HOT food, desserts and liquor drinks available!!), and one at the Uniondale Marriott. and another one hosted by the Wedding Salon at the Roosevel Hotel in NYC (the worst one because they promised goodie bags that ran out).
There is a another major Bridal Show in January 2010..
If you google the terms and throw in Long Island, Bridal Show, etc you will get some good web sites.
The only thing I'd be cautious about is giving out addresses and phone numbers. Some vendors are *REALLY* pushy and will call you to set up appointments, or flood you inbox with a ton of flyers. Just use a separate email address, avoid listing phone numbers and you should be ok.

I just called the Riviera to see if they are having one in the near future... no date as of yet but they told me to call in another month and they should have a date.
