Upcoming Flowerfield Tasting!!!

We kept wondering when our tasting would be, and finally got the letter this week! Of course it's the day of the 2013 Bridal Shower, glad I didn't buy a ticket because I have a very important wedding check to do that day! Anyone else going in January for the tasting? I wonder if they have different tastings for plated dinners versus buffet style (very different menus). We are doing the buffet so IDK how many people will be there because most choose the plated dinner. Really hope my parents can come down from NH for it and that FH's mom can get the day off - i mean, seriously?! - it's one of TWO weekends that we want them here in LI for wedding stuff! We will bring wedding party members if our parents can't come because it's too much awesome food to not share and we are vegetarians and need some carnivore opinions on meat dishes. Can't wait and it's all becoming more and more real now that I have my dress and our tasting is next month! 133 days, so much to do! Glad the tasting is so early because I want to know more details of the day-of and table set-up, et cetera.

I'm looking through my SUNY Oneonta alumni newsletter yesterday, checking out the wedding pics and I'm like 'that looks like Flowerfield...' and it was! A couple of alums from my college got married at my venue. I don't know them, but I like it anyway! And FH's partner at his law firm and his wife also got married at FF, like ten years ago. I bet they'll enjoy being guests at our FF wedding! MOH said she wants great food at her wedding, I recommended FF or any Lovin Oven location! But I would love if she chose FF so FH & I could attend a wedding at FF. We really wish we could do the FF holiday dinner this year, maybe next year...anyone going to that? or the tasting in Jan? We're so psyched!

Upcoming Flowerfield Tasting!!!

OMG I can't wait to get that letter...I can tell you from a wedding I attended that the meat is AMAZING! All the food was incredible!

Let me know how it goes! Can you bring as many people as you want?
