I definitely would. Chances are you're meeting wih higher ups and your appearance will count even more!

Defintely a suit!! Not the same one as the first interview in case you're meeting one of the interviewers again.

What does the suit lok like? I ask becasue I have actually used the sme suit twice on a number of interviews. I have a standard black suit and so for the first interview I wear a fun top - usually a pink or light blue. For the second I get more serious and wear a cream or white top.

Yes, but not the same one you wore to your first...

Don't laugh, I know someone who did this b/c they only owned one suit. The original interviewer was in the room the 2nd time, too & called them on it.

this is what i did - i bought a suit with a skirt and pants.
for the first interview, i would wear the suit jacket with the skirt and a button down blouse
for the second interview, i would wear the suit jacket with the pants and a different button down shirt!

Best part was - the suit only cost me $30!!!

I also think it depends on the kind of job you are interviewing for. When I interviewed for schools last summer, I wore khakis and a sweater set to my second interviews.

depends on the school though. i was listening to the other teachers who were at my interview last summer and they didn't like that people wore more casual outfits to some of the interviews...

although, none of the people i was interviewing with got a second interview....just me

All I'm saying is I got offered every job I interviewed for But don't forget, I work in the private schools, not public, so even though they are schools, they are way different.

Wear to a second interview the same thing you wore to the first interview in a different color. DEFINITELY wear a suit! Usually, when I go on a second interview, I meet the president of the company and stuff. (Hi, can I sound more like Beavis and Butthead?)

A suit for sure, you want to make sure that you are always MORE dressed than the people that are interviewing you...(however if they are in suits then you dont need to wear an evening gown). I am a recruiter...this is what i usually tell my talent.

If you only have one suit (provided it is a plain black one or something similar) you can switch it up with a shirt that is VERY different and different shoes, jewelry etc...wearing your hair different helps to distract from it too (ex if you wore it down last time, wear it up this time)

i was offered jobs wearing the same suit both interviews...

I think public and private schools are definitely two different stories
