Update at the bottom, Mystery solved

I posted this on the other page, but no one seems to be there, so I wanted to to try here. You ladies always pull through.
Please read:

Does anyone have that site where you write your name and your phone numbers come up? I received this very strange phone call before. I think it was a fraud thing. This lady said that this woman (same last name as mine) has racked up a 2200 phone bill and is using my address. She tried to verify my SS# but I wouldn't give it to her.
now here is the weird part, she told me the name of this other woman, and it sounds like a girl I went to school with 15 years ago!!! She has an extremely uncommon name. So it must be her.
Anyway, does anyone have this site?? I am going to get to the bottom of this mystery if it kills me!!!

On www.anywho.com you can do a lookup and get phone numbers but whats even scarier is that you can search the address and then the road and see the names and phone numbers of everyone on that street. (provided they are listed).

I got to the bottom of the mystery. What happened was this girl owes lots of money. The credit collectors get a percentage if they find her and collect. So they look in the phonebook for names that could be hers. I don't have my name in the phone, I just have my first initial and last name. This agency figured they would try my number. Unbelievable!!!!

Word to the wise though, NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR SS # to ANYONE WHO CALLS!!!
