Update: Bridal Reflections Carle Place
My Mom and I went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. I was very
wary as I had a weird and hard time trying to even get an appointment there. It was also the first time I went dress shopping without other people (ie Maid of Honor etc.) I thought I had found a great dress at RK bridal. I was really ready to buy it. We arrived at Bridal Reflections and they were extremely helpful and my attendant was Nawal (pronounced Noelle) she was great and brought in many different dresses. I tried on this one dress that had elements of all the dresses I loved. I couldn't believe one dress had ALL the elements I loved of different dresses from Priscilla of Boston and Kleinfeld. It felt like a custom made dress just for me!!!
Nawal made me walk down this long hallway type thing as if I was walking down the aisle and I turned around, I started tearing up... I turned around and saw my mother crying also! This is the first time I ever saw my mom cry over any dress!! It was such a special moment between the two of us and we just knew it was 'the one.'
I love that my mom and I found this dress together and that it's 'our little secret!'
I'm glad I gave Bridal Reflections a chance. I'm hoping all goes well with the fittings etc. Wish me luck! If anyone has any advice or tips regarding Bridal Reflections, I welcome them.
