I'm going to a wedding there tomorrow night... If anyone is having theirs there as well, I'll post a mini review....

Beautiful place... ceremony and reception were in the palm house... ch was held in a room downstairs (not sure of name, sorry!)...
Hate to say it though, but I really dont think it was worth the price tag... CH was really basic finger foods... dinner was a choice of 2 dishes... yes, only 2... beef wellington or bass... Never been to a wedding before that didnt have a chicken dish... The food tasted just like any other catering hall food... i would expect something spectacular for the price... for any of you guys having your wedding there, i'm just giving my honest opinion so dont flame me... It wasnt bad by any means... just not what you would expect for the pp price...
I think you more or less just pay for the ambiance of the room.... service was VERY good... my napkin must have been picked up and folded 100x throughout the night... the bartenders completely hooked up the drinks and had no prob giving out HUGE shots...

its started at around 180 pp (no tax or gratuity included) + a 5k site fee if i remember correctly
and that didnt include much lol so the add on would have brought it well up close 250 - 300 pp

Me too and we weren't too crazy about the menu choices either but it is really beautiful.

i went to a wedding there once and i felt the same. you are totally paying for location. food is nothing special. its a gorgeous place though!

I was quoted about 200pp for May. And it was definitely $5k for the site fee.
But imagine getting married under the canopy of cherry blossoms in May. SO pretty, but definitely not worth the price. And I don't eat red meat or fish so I would have been SOL. LOL! That was one huge reason we picked JT- NINE entree choices!

Forgot to say, they did have a vegetarian dish... altho not sure what it was... nine!?!?!? wow... thats insane... id have such a hard time choosing 'do you offer a sampler platter?!?' LOL
