UPDATE!!!! Can you spare some good vibes please!

I have a phone interview in a few minutes, and I could use all the good luck vibes I can get!

thanks ladies!!! Now I have 2 options to choose from, and I'm not sure which one to take.

1st option-

an internship program for 8 weeks, then a FT position for 12 weeks (covering for a staff members maternity leave), then if this staff member doesn't come back I can have her position FT. If she does come back, I'd be working only 2 days a week.

2nd option-

a FT position at their eastern LI location. I'd be getting paid double what I would be making at the first location, but it's about an hour away w/o traffic. And i'm sure I'd be spending a ton of $$ in gas..

I have until tomorrow to decide which one i'd like. So regardless, I got a job!!!

personally, i'd take #2. money talks!!! and if you hate it, you can always get a different job! maybe you'll move in the future too, who knows?

if #1 appeals to you more, then go with it, but do you want to be stuck working only 2 days a week? times are tough!

i would go with position #2
if the money is there, go for it and at least its a sure thing - your not waiting to see if someone will decide to come back or not from maternity leave

I would go with # 2. I think feeling secure in your job and not having to worry about wether the other person will come back would be better. Go for the money and the full time position!

And of course, congratulations!!
