UPDATE - Eve of Milady - there is HOPE!!!!

ANOTHER UPDATE!!!

I called EoM back and told her NO ONE has the dress so she offered to let me come try it on at her place in NJ!!!! Thank you so much Kristen for giving me the contact info!!!!! I am so excited!!!!

Anyone want to make a trip to Jersey next Tuesday???

So I posted a while back that I am having doubts about my dress. Lately I have been obsessing over this dress so I called Paradise Bridal and they said I have another two weeks where I can change my dress without any penalty. They carry EoM but they don't have this dress in stock... so I have to find some place to try it on... I called Lillette's, Commack Wedding Center, ALL of the Bridal Reflections, The Wedding Plaza in Floral Park and NO ONE has it. It's still on her website so I can't see that it has been discontinued.... are there any other stores on the island that carry Eve of Milady that I might be missing???

I NEED to try on this dress....


Update

So I called Eve of Milady and they told me to call BR in Manhattan because there is NO WAY they don't have it. I called and the woman told me they sold their sample because it is an older style. EoM DOESN'T have a loaner program so I can pay something like $150 to have them borrow one and then if I want the dress thr $150 would be applied towards the cost of the dress. So I guess I should see if Paradise will do the same thing for me.

Then I called Lillette's back and convinced them to give me the style # of the dress which she said was 4219. when you google it the dress that comes up iws the wrong dress... I haev to wait until 4 to call Paradise to talk to Donna but I am so upset... this should have been easy!!!!

It says E26 on her website but I don't know if that is accurate.

can you call EoM directly and ask what stores in the area carry the sample?

I guess I should just do that... I was going off of the stores they have listed on their site...

i would 100% call EoM and ask them!

I did this with a dress I wanted to try on from Symphony- the lady said Ill call you right back...literally called me back in 5 minutes...and told me Paradise Bridal would have the dress for me in jan/feb- they offered, no charge to send them a sample for me!

When I go to their website there is no phone number to call them directly... just a 'contact us' thing you can fill out... UGHHHHHH

I even called Kleinfelds and they don't have it either!!!!!!

Anywho............here's what I learned when I ordered my EOM dress. The numbers on the website are not their real style numbers. For instance, my gown is E27 on the site, but the REAL style number is 1401. I learned that from Geri at Lillette's. She told me the number when I was trying to figure out if I could order it through them or not. If you call Lillette's, and tell them the number E26, they might be able to give you the real style number. Just make it sound like you're planning to go order your gown from them.
