Update: FBB & not loving CP ....

so I saw my sort of final CP and im not 100% about it now. I liked it when I saw it. I seem to hate everything lately when it comes to this wedding. I feel like everything will be a mess!!

ok here they are. The hydrangeas look blue in the pics but theyre more deep purple. However, I want the hydrangeas more softer lavender like in the last pic. I shouldve said something when I was there so its really my fault! Im going to have to call FBB and fix this asap. im just afraid they wont have the shade I want :o((((

They forgot to add crystal strands to them and in one of the pics brian just threw short ones on to give me an idea of how it will look and also didnt add rose petals around the votives.

Just call them to clarify... the cp's are just as beautiful as they were when you first went, they will look fine. Brian does a great job, don't be worried. the blue vs the lavendar thing is a preference... if the worst that happens is the flowers are more blue than purple, you will have had a great day... but you deserve what you want, so just call them! no big deal!

ye i know you are right. FH was already biatching about how expensive the flowers are so he wants to make sure i get what i envisioned. I think im just stressed with final exams and the bar exam around the corner!

I am using FBB and I had the same thing happened to me. I initially should have said something regarding colors and the amount of hydrageas but I didn't. I called back about a week or so later and explained my concerns and they did a new sample for me and nailed it!! Def call them! My hydrangeas were not dark enough so they actually had to spray them, but it looked perfect!!

You won't feel good until it's right trust me.

I agree. There's plenty of time for them to order the right color. Don't worry at all. My CP has the lavendar hydrangea so I'm sure they have them!

i just literally spoke to them a few mins ago. this girl tells me that the shade i see is considered lavender and that they cnt guarantee what shade it will be come my wedding bec its a naturally grown flowers shes wasnt being mean but ummmm what???? i tell her i understand but since lavender is the main color in my wedding i need it to be lighter. i ask her can i call first week of june and find out what shade it came in?? shes like umm sure. then says she will leave a message for brian to call me at 3pm.

I don't see why they can't get the light lavender color... hydranga are soooo popular and common. They should be able to accomodate you with this!

ughh im so mad now bec the way the girl explained it is that yes they can spray them to make them darker but cnt guarantee the shade they will come in. she said they may be lighter or darker then what i saw when they did my sample! who did u speak with??

ye i worked with stacey and i LOVEDDD her she was super great but i dont know what happ 2 her bec shes not there at the moment. so Brian and some girl were assisting me.

i think they are pretty but if you are unhappy make them fix it! i am going to see me sample in June and i expect that before i leave it will be exactly what I want. they are costing me enough money i want to be happy. I worked with joseph and he seemed to be flexible...but i guess only time will tell...

I dealt directly with my Cindy who I booked with. In my case I wanted the hydrangeas to be very dark so it wasn't a concern of how light will they come because they were going to be darker anyway. I mean it makes sense to me that they can't guarantee that a certain shade will be available, especially since different months mean different flowers which is why I wanted to see my sample in October same month as my wedding.

well talking to brian didnt really make anything better! lol. he says that thats the only shade of lavender they have and he cnt guarantee that it wont be a shade darker in june. AND he said the orig CP which had all the hot pink roses-- he said that CP has the purple hydrangeas and if I use those its like im going back to my orig CP with all bright colors and that basically what i described to him as my vision a few days ago which consisted of light colors-- is thrown in the garbage. I got an attitude saying ive been planning my wedding for over a yr and I know my vision far better than anyone. he said i can do wtvr u want but those hydrangeas u like are darker than the blue looking ones. I dont know maybe im crazy girls but i dont get how the ones that look blue are lighter.

I think your centerpieces are beautiful as is...and I would just hope that you get more light lavendar hydrangeas. Tell them to try and get them for you and you can ask to see them a few weeks before your wedding since it'll be around the same time as your wedding.

he said they will come in june 2 or 3 and at that point he already paid for them and i cnt switch between the lavender and purple.
