UPDATE!!! Going to talk to FMIL tonight

There has been alot of drama lately with FMIL.( A few weeks ago FH asked her to be involved and she said she didn't want to be...and then went around telling everyone we didn't want her to be involved ) So tonight we are SUPPOSED to go over there and have a chit-chat with FMIL and straighten out a few things. (Also, FSIL is under the impression she is a bridesmaid, although she isn't...that should be an interesting situation as well)

If we don't go over to talk to FMIL tonight, I will definitely have a bridezilla moment. I have been waiting to get this whole thing straightened out for weeks and she is always too tired or busy to talk to us about it. So if this is not taken care of tonight, I am going to be so upset and will probably land myself on the 6pm news

UPDATE: We met with FMIL last night (I am still shocked she made time for us ). It was the first time she has acknowledged the wedding and the whole conversation was quite awkward. We got alot of things straightened out with her. FH decided last minute (he felt guilty not having his siblings be in the BP) so FSIL and 2 FBIL's will be junior bridesmaids and junior groomsmen. We don't want a large BP so FSIL and my FBIL's will have limited responsibilities the day of. Another check off my list!

Good luck. I definately would not want to be you. How are you going to break it to the FSIL that she is not in the BP? That's going to be tough...

FH's siblings are teenagers...so FMIL will need to pay for all of their attire. FMIL said she can't afford to contribute anything to the wedding so unless FMIL suddenly can come up with $$$ to cover all of his 3 siblings, they all will either be an usher, hand out programs, or do a reading. FH isn't close with his siblings anyway so I am planning on making it short and sweet with FSIL and ask her if she would like to do a reading. I have stressed about this situation for too long...I've almost reached my capacity!

good luck!!! i feel your pain...i have been having some issues with FMIL that i just told FH if we dont talk to her soon i am gonna flip out!

Good luck try to stay calm and think through what you will say before you say it. As irrational as she has been you don't want to say something you will regret.
