did you make a preliminary guest list to see how many ppl are on there? I think that's the best starting point...ultimately, I think you and FH have to come to an agreement with approximately how many people you want/can afford to have, then you can make adjustments to the guest list accordingly.

the thing with the guarantee is that - if you guarantee the 150, you're locked into that amount of $$...if you guarantee like 75 and 100 come, you're good, but if you already guaranteed 150 - you're s c r e w e d. I would prob guarantee the lower # and then figure things out from there. You don't want to be scrambling to make the guarantee, KWIM? butttt on the other hand, if you guarantee more, the RH might lower the price pp...

We guaranteed 125.

Our guest list - once we wrote it out, came to 219.

That's a lot more people that we didn't realize we were inviting until we wrote it all out.
