UPdate: I have heat!!!Still no heat or hot water

I am freezing today... the temperature is down to 62 in the apt. They better fix it today... I haven't washed dishes since Friday - its getting really bad. At least my parents live close so I can shower, but thats a pain in the neck too.

I'm really considered deducting money from the rent if this doesn't get fixed soon.

I'm heading out now - at least my car and the stores have heat!!!!! I hate being cold!!! Just had to vent some more!!

How many days have you been without heat? It it has been more than 48 hours I ABSOLUTELY would be deducting money!

It will be 48 hours today. It happened Saturday afternoon, but it feels like longer!

I would speak to the landlord as to when it is going to be fixed. If it is not done by a responsible hour tonight (like 8pm since yesterday was a Sunday) I would definitely subtract some money-- Luckily it is not bitter cold today!! Try not to open the too much today or for too long. Good luck!

I feel really bad for you. My landlord controls our heat and its usually cold. It has been 62 in my apartment so many times also. That is very cold. Get a space heater and make him pay for it. I have one and its great!

I would definitely talk to them - there are emergency services that can fix problems like this 24 hours a day!! There is no reason to be without heat and hot water for 2 days!!
