UPDATE (Long) went out today to LI w/ mom and was in a bad car accident

We got a car last Tuesday that I absolutely love : TOyota Sequia - Its huge and I feel so safe in it.
So that's the good news - here's the fricken bad news ------ and where I need to vent....
The girl who blew the red light is claiming that she didnt,![]()

& her insurance company came to look at the car and were like....
You know we're not even going to pay for this, because our insured says it wasnt her fault and they're --- so its like the biggest BS of my life. THey estimated the damage to be around $4k ----
ummm ok if maybe you're using used parts from China. I am soooo mad right now, the fact that people can go ahead and change the story completely after the whole thign happened just blows my mind - BAD KARMA!
I swear! Maybe this kills me because I'm one of those ethical, do everything by the books, can't imagine lying to the police, or to the courts, or to the insurance kind of person....
Plus im such a bad liar anyway! This just pisses me off!Just needed to vent. I'm going to call our Insurance Agent, I just don't want it to look like that im accepting fault by going through with our insurance.

as some of you know i was asking about places where to take my mom to look at dresses for her and we wanted to go to barrons at tri county ---
oh man so this is what happened... we arrived at barrons around 12:30 looked around --- i kinda picked out my veil but still want to confirm the length after i try my dress on again, but i got a reallly nice headpiece for ($48) and i got my FG a crown and my 2 jr bm cute green pins to match the dresses -- then we were off to bridal reflections in massapequa --- my mom tried on about 4 dresses and we werent too crazy about anything soooo we were off to Sandys Shoes (right around the corner)
soooo this is the horrible part
im the first car standing on the red light - red light turns green, i wait go into the intersection, wait because im about to make a left onto broadway --- theres a car going straight --- so i wait ----
and what do you know ------------------------
theres a car coming straight up from broadway going about 60 miles an hour not stopping on the red light she had which was red for about 15 seconds or more already ---- and as i see her coming straight at me (Perpendicular) so shes coming straight at my side (50 or more mph)
my guardian angel comes in the van she was driving (straight ahead of me) and comes in between me and the girl who was going 50 mph)
uhhhh it was soo horrible. so the girl going 50 mph went into the other ladies passenger side and the she bounced of me ------
i was in shock - once i got out of the car and looked at it and saw that in that second her van protected my small car from getting the direct hit. luckily the lady in the van didnt have a passenger (thank God b/c i dont know what would have happened)
the girl in the car (who ran the red light) was knocked out - hopefully shes going to be ok - they took her to the hospital -
So I was pretty shooken up - my leg was twitching up and down about 10000 per minute. i couldnt even give the police what they were asking for as far as registration.
Well thats all ladies, im ok, just thinking about thte whole thing is bringing me to tears. because this was out of my control. You know how when you have an accident, and its somewhat your fault you think... oh i could have done this or that.. but in this case i couldnt do anything... i was waiting on a green light on an intersection to make a left...
Well Good thoughts, Im ok and everythign will be ok. A car is a car that doesnt even matter at all.
