Update on cyber-stalker

Hi gals!

Don't know if you remember me, but I was the gal who was being stalked by some nut who was posting my pictures and profiles on matchmaking sites (saying that I was engaged but looking for sex). Just wanted to check in and let you know that someone at the FBI is finally listening to me! It took a lot of phone calls and e-mails, but I have been in touch with someone from the computer crimes unit who promises me he will follow up on this and let me know as soon as he knows anything. But this is another reminder: don't let any websites post your contact info!

Thank you so much for all the support! To answer the question, no, the person didn't get any of my info from this site. I'm sort of a 'minor celebrity' in my industry, so there are about 2,000 websites that have info about me on them, and many of them have my pictures. Two of them also had my address, without me realizing it until I did a web search under my name and went through every single site. So this jerk gathered up all the info he could find and included my town and zip code in my 'profile.' I'm very hopeful that he/she will be caught, though! I can't stand not knowing who did this to me.
