He met with an associate and a partner on Tuesday -- he heard back this morning. They think he's an excellent candidate for the position, and they are setting up a meeting with the head partner!
I'm very happy for him!

I didnt know what the situation but I am glad it all worked out. Its probally a relief to you and him.
He just hates his current firm, and has been looking for a while, and not really finding anything!

(I just febrezed it, and ironed it with a pillow case over it -- the towel was too thick!)
