update on former studnet, he does have bone cancer.

I don’t know if you remember I posted a while back that one of my former students may have bone cancer well sad to report its s official a d he does. I cant believe that a 14 year old boy who was so lively and talkative is now spending his days at chemo sessions rather than in school or out with friends. I don’t know much about bone cancer except that it’s very serious and the fact that they are not operation worries me, Some soworkers are going to visit him I really don’t think I could hanfdle it so Ia m being a chicken and just sending a gift. I was thinking of a baseball cap (since he’ll loose his hair from chemo). I just pray that there is a miracle and he is somehow ok from all of this.
I feel guilty somehow b/c he was not always the best kid in class and when he was out I would say oh thank goodness and now I would have him in my class 10000 over and have him act 1000000 worse then he ever did just to have him ok.

Please pray for a miracle.

That's terrible news. I'm so sorry to hear about it.

I wonder if his family knows about the Make-a-Wish foundation? They grant wishes for kids up to the age of 18, I think, and I know that they've done a lot to cheer people up! Just a thought.

my cousin (in medicine) says that you have more of a chance at treating cancer that starts in the bones as opposed to cancer that has spread to the bones...by then, i guess it would be very advanced. but if his started in the bones, maybe he'll be okay! he'll be in my thoughts

My stepfather just passed away from cancer.

This is a young boy.. you have to be optimistic and Pray ALOT.
He will be fine.
