Update on house search,..

Update on house search,..

so as you know..me and fh put an offer on a house..we were able to talk them down 20k..my question is..is that good? do you think we can talk them down any more? the house is fairly new (built in 2003)...everyone says we are getting a great deal..and i love the house..do we keep looking?

If you love it and it is affordable, meaning in your price range, then i wouldnt keep looking. There is a reason you love it. The question is, do you want to keep looking??

I don't know..im confused! lol..the price is definately in our range..and i love the house!

Wow I didn't even know that you put an offer in. 20K isn't bad at all. If you love the house go for it. That's so exciting for you!!! I remember that feeling!!!!

maybe your realtor can look up recent sales of similar houses... that'll give you an idea of what you should expect to pay.

I think if the seller accepts $20,000 less than the asking price that is a great deal. Good luck!!!!!!!!

if they dropped it 20k then they probably have a low limit set in their heads. You may be able to get them down a bit more It never hurts to try. The way prices are right now you have that in your favor.. GOOD LUCK.
