Update on me and my health issues...

Okay so first thanks for all of your concern and well wishes, you girls are the best (but you knew that)

I just got back from my thyroid uptake scan. The nodule is completely overactive and has caused the rest of my thyroid to basically shut down - not function at all. Sooo... I will only need to have the half with the nodule removed during my surgery on the 14th. Which is good news. If the other half starts working, I won't need to go on medication. If it doesn't start working, I will need medication.

Now I'm just going to my physical at 10:30 and then no more doctors until the 14th!!

Yes. Now i'm getting nervous that i'll start gaining weight if the other half doesn't start working. i don't know how long they will wait to see that before putting me on synthroid. last thing i need is to not fit in my dress!
