I havent had much free time to get on here and post how things have been going!!! Biruk and Paulos have been home two weeks tomorrow and things are going really well!!!! They are sweet, loving, very affectionate children. They are excited every day about life and it has brought me to a whole new place in life, things that Ive taken for granted are now such amazing things..they are teaching me to see again how really great life is! They are adjusting very well, we have been to visit with their friends from Ethiopia who are living in NY now and we have eaten at an Ethiopian restaurant every weekend, and I have been able to have staff there translate important things for me. Their personalities are so sweet and caring, we have had our battles, but they have been quickly resolved. They are much more dependent than I had imagined, they constantly want and need attention and it is quite draining, but I believe that once they realize that Im not going anywhere, they wont feel that they need to be with me 24/7. They also are very competitive for my attention and it can be hard at times, but again..I think that once things become more normal..they will know that I love them both so much. Biruk had broken something and then told me that I didnt love him anymore..it was heart breaking..I told him I will love him forever no matter what..its so sad.. but they are doing great!! I have TONS of pictures to download..Ill try to do that this weekend!!! Thanks again everyone for all of your support throughout this process!!!

Congratulations. It is wierd how kids think, when I was young and did something (break something, fight with my sister) and got yelled at, I always thought my mom was gonna stop loving me. She always reassured me but it was still sad to think like that.

Alicia- I am glad to hear things are going well. I always look forward to your updates. I cant even imagine trying to adjust to a new home life and new country. But once they do settle in, it will be much calmer. Hang in there!!!!
