UPDATE ON MY DOG...
So I just got a call from the Vet. Apparently my dogs blood work came out fine except for her Bial Acids. Normally they are supposed to be @ 10% and hers were at 120%. He mentioned something about Liver Shunt.
It seems her liver is not functioning properly which causes all of these toxins to be in her system, which in turn cause seizures..etc. He said she would have to have an ultra sound and be evaluated to make sure this is the case. He recommended a vet in Long Island (Go figure..) and now I am faced with this dilemma. Have any of you heard of Ultra Vet Diagnostics. I have to make an appointment to see a Dr. Kramer or Dr. Justin. I believe it's in Mineola. Now I'm worried :(. It looks like I am going to have to wait until the insurance kicks in because I have NO clue how much this is going to cost me..and if she does have this she will more than likely need surgery.
