As some of you may know my FIL recently found out he has an Aneurysm in his brain. The doctors know the size and location and have confirmed they need to do some major surgery. My FIL has to get all kinds of tests to make sure he is strong enough to handle the surgery. He has to get the surgery which may cost him his life but if he does not the Aneurysm can or will burst being it's so large.
My DH misunderstood his mother and thought there was a 'test' in which would risk my FIL's life but she was referring to major surgery.
You girls have been so supportive and I can honestly say, I feel stronger with all the support I get from you all and I can not thank you enough.
Unfortunately, there is nothing else we can do but continue to pray and hope for the best.
Just wanted to share the update with my supportive LIW friends.

No, not yet because they have to run some tests which he has an appointment for...the tests will determine if whether or not he strong enough to handle the surgery...basically they are going to check all his organs, blood...etc. Once they know if whether or not he is strong enough they will schedule the appointment for the surgery.
I will definitely keep you girls posted.

My grandfather had a brain hemmorage when I was 16. His new wife found him lying on the bed...thank god she did or else he probably wouldn't have survived. It's basically the same as an aneurysm. My grandfather had a shunt put into his brain and he lived for many more years. I'm not sure if this is the same surgery your fil is having - but I will surely keep you all in my thoughts!
